“NALites” Return To The Modern NAL.

On Wednesday 10th July 2026 a group of 8 ex-employees (NALites) visited the NAL facilities at the Hearing Hub at Macquarie Uni and had a tour of the premises. And a big thank you must go to Bettina Turnbull for organising the tour and to Bob Cook for coordinating it. Even an ex-NAL Director, Marshall Smithers, was there, and it was good to catch-up.

They say – “a picture tells a thousand stories” well, Peter Peploe and Wal Phelps have provided the images to tell that story. Thank you Peter and Wal.

Reunion Lunch – 2026.

Just a reminder that our re-union lunch for 2026 is on Wednesday, 3rd June, from 12 noon at North Ryde RSL Club. Currently we have 21 or 22 people coming.

Just a quick reminder that the 2025 reunion is on Wednesday 23 July at North Ryde RSL at 12:30.

Bob Cook reports that 15 people have notified him that they can come to the reunion and 2 people can’t attend.

There is one in particular, taken inside the building, that none of us will probably ever see again. It is a black and white photo showing some of the interior architecture of the building . Now that certainly brings back memories.
